“I was totally caught by surprise visiting the ER @ St Luke’s. Before entering I needed a wheelchair but to no avail!! I had to walk to have an XRay done and before I sat we had to wipe down the chairs. The floors were grossly dirty, used blankets were left in the chairs as well as trash cans as I walked through the hallways. I entered around 3:15pm and asked for something to eat around 11:30pm I received a cold turkey n cheese sandwich with a warm juice. My pain was at the max and at least 3 of the doctors wanted me to take some pain medication and go home without a true diagnosis of my condition!! I refused to leave without knowing the problem to my pain and was eventually moved to a room. It was creepy-bathroom light flickering, the tub seen in the picture below as though it was remolding being done as well as the walls were dirty, lastly some stripping with electrical wires on the wall! I was not comfortable but needed to be treated. Which eventually the staff concluded with a diagnosis and appropriate medication. The food was Horrible!! However, the staff was Professional and attentive to my needs during my stay despite the circumstances”

“Know that this place is very busy. Nursing staff on our floor was excellent. If you have a patient here, go learn the place. Lots of corridors go in all kinds of places. Remember your colors and go explore. There's a museum, a chapel, a cafeteria. All this helps to get your mind off of certain things. If you're lost, ask, so many people will help you.”

“The staff was amazing and Stephanie in recovery and discharge was absolutely wonderful at explaining the procedures and home care. Everyone was very accommodating and Dee Rose went above and beyond making sure I was taken care of. I definitely hope they get a wonderful salary increase for their wonderful care.”
