“I went to this clinic after having an unfortunate interaction with planned parenthood, where I felt such a lack of empathy and kindness that prompted me to cancel my appointment with them. I found FPA and went to two separate locations where I had incredible experiences at both. The first location was in east LA where I got all of my intake done, but due to a rescheduling I was sent over to Koreatown location a couple weeks later. I went to receive a procedure that required me to go under anesthesia and I was incredibly nervous and in desperate need of emotional sensitivity and empathetic kindness, which is exactly what I received here. I had the most positive experience with a situation that felt incredibly daunting and heartbreaking. I received care from such incredible women who made me feel the safest I’ve ever felt in a medical setting. Dr. Stewart, Tauri, Elsa, Rose, and Virgine. I will always remember these women for taking care of me. Their kindness made such a huge difference in the aftermath of the procedure and I feel that my healing process will be easier because of them 💖 I will absolutely be recommending this clinic and coming back if I ever need.”

“Absolutely horrible clinic. Their lead doctor is a disgusting person. During a consult, with a sinister smile, she said she might poke a hole through my uterus. I got up, left, and canceled. Today I got a bill in the mail from FPA threatening to sue me if I don’t pay for the services I refused. That doctor should be dismissed, and quite frankly this facility shouldn’t be funded if they’re going to condone her behavior and effectively force patients to go through treatments with physicians they’re uncomfortable with or pay the full amount. Horrible, horrible, horrible place. Their staff should be ashamed.”

“I went to this clinic feeling nervous, and unfortunately my experience with one of the nurse practitioners was extremely upsetting. During my visit, I was assigned to the nurse practitioner RASHEEDAT. She was abrupt and dismissive when I asked questions about my procedure. I felt rushed, unheard, and made to feel like I was a burden for simply trying to understand what was happening to my body. What made this even more concerning is that my roommate later went to the same clinic and was also seen by this same nurse. She also described feeling anxious and distressed due to the way she was treated by this nurse, which made me realize my experience was not an isolated incident. This is a women’s health clinic, where patients often come in feeling vulnerable and scared. Compassion, patience, and clear communication are essential. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with this nurse. I will say I had a great experience with all other nurses I encountered there, but RASHEEDAT was truly traumatizing and unprofessional and i will never forget the way she made me feel. I hope the clinic’s leadership takes this feedback seriously so future patients can feel safe, respected, and supported.”
