I have only wonderful things to say about this hospital, especially the neurosurgery staff. We spent four days split between surgery and the 16th-floor ICU. Every single person we came into contact with—nurses, techs, administrators, and everyone else—was kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun! While the room wasn’t the cleanest I’ve ever seen, the excellent care we received is what truly matters. Plus, you can't beat the views! My husband is an avid sailor, and watching the river made his stay so much easier. Thank you to everyone at NYU Langone! I hope we never have to return. P.S. Special thanks to the nurses and staff including but not limited to: Kathleen Jennette, Guetty Joseph, Karen Marie Fernandez, Alyssa Hackney, Frankee Cooper, Lauren Deonarine, Julia Flaim, and (Other) Julia. Also, Dr. Khan, Dr. Carter, Danny NP, Madalyn PA, and all of the Neuro Surgery residents. Apologies and thanks to anyone I forgot. You were all amazing!

NYU LANGONE is the only hospital our family will use, especially after the A+ experience when expecting our first child. This one will take some time, but I have to express how we feel. We learned we were with child right as the pandemic shutdown. We made several calls to pediatricians around the city, and most of them gave us excuses why they wouldn't take us as patients; age of the mother, "risk factors", etc., after some independent research we decided to try NYU. From the first experience, my wife was treated with the utmost of respect. Every phase of the process was explained in great detail, every doctor, nurse, and medical professional did not hesitate to repeat anything we didn't understand, and handled my wife's concerns with respect, kindness, and dignity. Out of the dozens of people that were a part of her natal team, there was one doctor who did not act professionally toward her - we had a telehealth conference and at some point when my wife was asking a question, the doctor laughed and disregarded her question. I immediately voiced my objection to her, and before the day was over she was removed from her care team. The other doctors apologized for this, and there was never a repeat of this treatment. The day we checked in for her delivery was nerve racking and (I'll admit) frightening. Everyone we met and worked with treated my wife better than royalty. We spent a few days in the hospital after delivery for several reasons, but each day passed with more care and compassion. By the time we checked out, we had our beautiful baby boy and I had my wife; as healthy and as safe as when we checked in. We will forever remember the wonderful doctors, nurses, PAs, and all staff that made this the finest experience it could be. ALL of our medical needs are through the NYU system - we would go to no other hospital if we could help it. If you're reading this and are considering having a baby, BYU is for you.

The team at NYU was incredibly kind, compassionate, and professional during a very stressful time. A special thank you to Dr. Ruth McCann for her genuine care, empathy, and warmth. She made a difficult experience feel much less overwhelming and treated everyone with such respect and humanity. You can truly tell she cares deeply about her patients and the people around them. NYU is very lucky to have a doctor like her.

I am grateful for the chance to be alive. Two years ago I had the kidney transplant surgery and can't be more happier. Special thanks to Dr. Johnathan Berger, all nurses and doctors who were next to me during my treatment in the hospital. Great people 👏, great facility. God bless you all. 🙏
