Pacific Women's OB/GYN Medical Group
Pacific Women's OB/GYN Medical Group was founded in 1989 by Drs. Laurie Green and Joanne Hom with the goal of providing state-of-the-art, empathic obstetrics and gynecology care in a woman-run, visually beautiful environment. Over the years, the practice has expanded to now include six female obstetrician-gynecologists and two physician assistants. Our providers come from diverse backgrounds and have trained at several of the country's top OB/GYN residencies. Working together, the physicians and physician assistants of Pacific Women's share their collective clinical experience and expertise to provide comprehensive and compassionate care for our patients. From routine gynecological and obstetrics needs to complex women’s health issues, we are committed to providing you personalized, supportive care in a serene, respectful private practice atmosphere. It is an honor to serve our patients and their families.

“Dr. Fung Yee Chan is truly the greatest doctor. I was incredibly nervous about an IUD replacement, after my first insertion was the most painful experience I’ve ever had. As soon as she learned that I was nervous, Dr. Chan was incredibly kind - explaining every step of the process as she went through the procedure so I knew exactly what to expect, allowing me to play music, and having ALL the right pain relief options prepped for me. The experience was infinitely better than my first insertion. Highly highly recommend seeing Dr. Chan!! I never thought I’d say this, but I’d happily get another IUD as long as she’s my doctor.”

“If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I should have never gone after reading the reviews. I went for an annual exam in January, which would've been fully covered by insurance, but due to their shady billing practices I ended up with an insane bill that my insurance didn't even cover all of it. I have emailed 4 times and called their billing twice with ZERO response. Do not go here unless you want mediocre care, pay the highest possible price, and then get ghosted.”

“I’ve been seeing by obgyn from this office, whom I love, for the past 22 years. They have an appointment request form on their website, which I’ve submitted twice this week. I thought perhaps I filled out the first one incorrectly, so submitted another the next day. (You do not receive an acknowledgement email.) I followed up yesterday with an email and still have not received any response. What has happened with this office? From the other reviews, I’m wondering if they are even operating anymore. I’d hate to have to find a new obgyn, but this is no way to run a medical practice.”

“They took advantage financially and charged several hundred dollars upfront for a procedure without trying insurance. Ended up not needing the procedure and claimed what they charged me was still correct since I went to the office and was examined. Pretty sure they also billed insurance too for the extra cash. Ended up going to a different place for the same thing a year later and of course, insurance accepted it and it was billed correctly. Pacific has awful billing tactics and practices. Should not be practicing medicine. Would never ever step anywhere near here for any type of care.”
