“The doctor was great, but I had a difficult experience with the blood draw. I felt very lightheaded, almost to the point of fainting. The nurse mentioned that the vein became swollen during the first attempt, and I ended up with a noticeable bruise. (Purple bruise size about 2inch) I wish I can post the photo. The second arm was fine. I’ve had blood drawn many times before and have never experienced this, so I was a bit surprised. I wish there had been more attention to patient comfort during the initial draw.”
